Last wednesday, a day to remember! Our daughter has become a graduate in English language and Italian – after three years in Manchester uni, a year in Bologna, hard work, stress over deadlines and hours spent in the library doing research. On our side, supporting her meant to pick up the phone in the middle of the night, make sure skype was on and lots of hugs, love and prayers…The end of an era! Celebrations included champagne (incidentally brought over by my dear cousin on the Monday!) salmon, swordfish, and tiramisu.
A new beginning, looking for the right job. Letters of application, tailored CVs, emails, phone calls are mentioned every day, more waiting..for a very busy and happy daughter. And a very proud mother. Join the club? Let me know!
