Second day in Norfolk, Ingoldisthorpe

We got up at 8ish and while the coffee was chirping away I read Ezekiel up to chapter 6. After breakfast coffee and granola slices we went to Heacham Methodist church. Steven took the service and first he explained that Dad used to worship in this church and he thanked them because they looked after Dad so well first after mum’ s death and then when he had his cancer. He passed away 2 years and a half ago.
I felt like crying a lot especially during the hymns i.e. Seek ye (old English for you) first the kingdom of God based on Matthew 6:24..
In the afternoon we went to the beautiful bird reserve in Titchwell of course. We are considering joining the RSPB.
Tonight we went to The White Horse at Holmes next Sea and had the sea bass.Delicious.
To close here is a bit of humour found in the notices section of the Methodist circuit magazine.
Notice in a farmer’s field:
The farmer allows walkers to cross for free but the bull charges.
Have a blessed evening.
