The message of the cross…

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate’

Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age?

Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him. God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand miraculous signs and Greek look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling-block to Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:18-24

Bros and sis, you are welcome to pray in unity:

Father God, Lord open the eyes and the hearts of those who don’t know you yet,

Jesus, send your ‘ambassadors’ to those who don’t know you yet, remove their hearts of stone and give them a heart of flesh, that they may see that Jesus is truly the Saviour of the world

14And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. (1 John 4:14)

Holy Spirit, have your way in all your children, help us giving the Good News of your Gospel today again.

Father God, thank you for recovering the sheep who have gone astray, give them a new heart and a new spirit, may they return in your flock.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus-Christ Amen!

Dear bros and sis, I hope you are all well and you have managed to have some rest. We just came back from a two-weeks holiday in Sainte Marie La mer, south of Perpignan, on the Mediterranean and we had a relaxing time. Speak to you soon. Blessings and love Nicky
